Ductal carcinoma in Situ (DCIS)
Invasive (or infiltrating) lobular carcinoma
- This type of Breast Cancer is known to be non-invasive or pre-invasive. DCIS happens when the cells lined along the ducts have changed and now look like cancer cells.
Invasive (or infiltrating) lobular carcinoma
- This type of breast cancer is the most common type. It begins in the milk duct, tears through the duct wall, and starts to grow on the fat tissue.
- This type of breast cancer develops in the tubes that produce milk (lobules) and has the chance to spread through the body.
